Minutes from Mandatory Meeting January 05, 2012

1. Direct Deposit will be starting the payday on January 13th, 2012 pay stubs will be palced in your file folder. Time sheets MUST be completed and turned in on the Monday before payday.
2.W-02 's will be distributed in your paystubs on January 27th, 2012
3.W-4 and I-9 forms will need to be filled out.  Please report to Karen Pugh for the paperwork.
4. The forum will remain and a hard copy of any memos or policies will be posted at each station.
5. Run sheets are required to be entered after the call.  If you need to get a drink or something to eat first, that is acceptable, however no other activities are to be done until the call is entered in the computer.  Make sure ALL of your run reports are entered before the end of your shift.
6.During every scheduled shift please report the Karen Pugh to see if MCA has sent any of your reports back for more information or amendments.  If you are not scheduled at Station 20 and are scheduled at Station 50, call in to Karen for this information.
7, Please show up to work on time and wear the proper uniform apparel that is listed in your policy and porcedure manual.
8. Please keep Stations and Ambulances clean and presentable during your shift.
9.Try to make en route response times as quick as possible.
10.Do not ask for lifting assistance from fire dept. or police dept unless it is absolutely necessary.
11.No excessive talking on the radio.  Sarcastic or rude remarks will NOT be tolorated.
12.Please refrain from any negative comment posts on facebook concerning WCEAA or agencies that we work with.
13. Be professional and curteous to other EMS and Fire agencies, hospitals, as well as law enforcement.  If you have a complaint please document an incdent including names, dates, and times
14. Station 20 will be receiving a new ambulance.  It will be a 2 wheel dive van anmbualnce.  These ambulances drive much differently than our box Ambulances.  Please drive respectively and with caution.  This new van ambulance will be mainly for transports.  If there is excessive equipment being used for a transport then the box unit should be considered.  Ambulance will become our spare ambulance for the county and ambulance 22 will be housed at station 30.
15. MCA will be teaching a class at WCH conference room on Feb. 2nd, 2012 at 6pm.  This class will be discussing the PCR's and billing authorization forms as well as proper documentation for transfers.
16. Emily will be maintaining the forum.
17. Bill Austin and Leslie Williamson are in charge of supplies.  Look over new C- collars that are now being used.  Bill and Leslie ask that if a supply item stock is getting low then notify them so that they have plenty of time to order.
18.Drug tags will be eliminated and a combination lock for the narcotics will be used.  Daily durg checks will need documented and witnessed on daily report sheets.  This will begin as soon as the locks come in.  Until the, leave the tag on the narcotic box and change daily with a new tag after daily checks.  Have a partner or one other crew member witness your daily check.
19. Jim Estep is the Director of WCEAA vehicles.  He will maintain the preventive maintenance needed and make appointments as needed.  If any problems arise with the ambulances yo will need to contact Jim. Also, document on your daily shift report.
20. Carla McBee is our official Squad Training Officer and will keep employees informed on future classes and requirements needed for recertifications.
21. Bill Pugh is over the building and ground maintenance.  Please report any finding on your daily shift report.

Thanks for all the hard work that you do to make our workplace perofessionl but still enjoyable.  You all are appreciated.
