Narcotic Combination Lock
« on: January 23, 2012, 07:51:41 am »
It has come to my attention that employees are still putting red tags on the narc box. When we had our meeting on January 5th 2012 this issued was discussed. Upon majority vote of the paramedics, it was decided that a combination lock would be placed on the narc box instead of the red tag. Station 20 ambulances do not need a red tag. Station 30, 50 , and 60 should have the combination lock and red tag. These stations do not always have a medic on the truck on a daily basis. Please make sure you have a witness sign on your daily shift report after checking your narcotics. For the time being write this witness on the top right corner of the shift report. We are in the process of making new shift reports that will include this matter. The shift reports will remain the same but with this additive to it.
Thank You and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
